RECS is a free app for sharing recommendations with people you know, provided by an independent Australian studio ("we", "us"). By using RECS, you agree to these terms.
RECS is currently free to use, with no advertising. If that ever changes, we'll update these terms and let users know in advance. We may also change, pause, or discontinue the service at any time, and we'll try to give notice where we reasonably can.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use RECS.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the content you post. Don't use RECS to harass others, share unlawful content, or attempt to access accounts that aren't yours.
Information about films, TV, books, music and games shown in RECS (titles, artwork, descriptions) is sourced from third-party providers, including TMDB, Open Library, MusicBrainz, and IGDB (game data from IGDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Ownership and rights to that content remain with the original providers and rights holders.
RECS is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of RECS.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of RECS after a change means you accept the updated terms.
